Ultimate Math Privacy Policy
Effective September 28, 2026
Ultimate Math is a math learning app for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, made by IdeaBloom Labs. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is kept, and the choices you have.
The short version
You can use Ultimate Math with a profile stored only on your device. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional. Lessons, practice, progress, the arcade and AJ, the learning assistant, work on your device.
There are no ads, no analytics or advertising tools, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
We never sell personal information.
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we keep a small account profile so the account works. You can delete it at any time in Settings.
Information that stays on your device
Your learning progress, answers, streaks, points, arcade items, assistant conversations, goals and family invite codes are stored on your device. They are not sent to us.
AJ, the learning assistant, uses Apple Intelligence on your device when it is available. Your questions and conversations are not sent to us.
Read-aloud uses your device's built-in voices, and reminders are notifications scheduled on your device.
Settings → Allow Local Usage Metrics keeps simple counts on your device, such as completed daily missions, to shape suggestions. They never leave your device, and you can turn them off.
An account created in the app with an email address and password is stored only on that device.
The Home Screen widget reads your streak and progress from the app on the same device.
Optional accounts with Apple or Google
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, the account runs on Google Firebase, and we store:
your name and email address (Apple can hide your real email address behind a private relay address)
an account ID
your account profile: whether you are a student or a parent, your grade, whether you took the placement quiz, your avatar choices, and when you confirmed the family acknowledgement
the time you last used an account feature, recorded at most once every 15 minutes
How we use it
We use account information only to run your account: to sign you in, keep your profile, and show linked family members. Learning progress is not uploaded. We do not use anyone's information for advertising.
Parents and family features
Parent goals and family invite codes are stored on the device where they are created. If your family linked accounts in an earlier version of the app, that link stays in our cloud database until either person removes it or deletes their account.
Children's privacy
Ultimate Math is made for children. The app requires a profile. A local email-and-password profile stays on your device; signing in with Apple or Google shares the account information described above. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before creating a profile; the app asks students to confirm that a parent or guardian knows they are using it.
Parents and guardians can review or delete a child's account information at any time: sign in and use Settings → Delete Cloud Account & Data, or email us. If you believe your child created an account without your permission, contact us and we will delete it.
Services that help run the app
Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) runs optional accounts. Its servers may be in the United States or other countries.
Google Sign-In is used only when you choose it.
Apple provides Sign in with Apple, Game Center, Apple Intelligence and the crash reports you choose to share with developers in your device settings. If you sign in to Game Center, your practice points are sent to Apple for leaderboards.
Keeping and deleting information
Information on your device stays until you clear it with Settings → Clear Local Learning Data or delete the app.
Account information stays until you delete the account with Settings → Delete Cloud Account & Data, or ask us to. For your security, the app asks you to sign in again first. Deleting removes your account profile, activity time and family links from our cloud database and deletes the sign-in account.
Settings → Export Progress saves a copy of your progress.
Security
Account information is sent over encrypted connections, and our database rules let only the signed-in account holder, and for existing family links the linked parent, read it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and show the new version in the app.
